Biological Activity | This antibody can be used in ELISA assays (1: 1,000 dilution). It recognizes dimethylated H3 K9. The methylation of specific histone lysines controls aspects of short- and long-term transcriptional regulation, in addition to the propagation of bulk chromosome structure and stability. Methylated histone H3 K9 is also involved in transcriptional silencing of human polycomb target genes and epigenetic imprints of the inactive X-chromosome . Methylated H3 K9 is considered a mark of repressive chromatin state |
Formulation | Solution at 0.5 mg/mL in PBS |
