| Biological Activity | This antibody can be used in ELISA assays (1: 1,000 dilution). It recognizes human p53, a transcription factor that is mutated in approximately half of all human cancers. It controls the cell cycle, apoptosis and DNA repair in response to cytotoxic stresses. The C terminus of p53 is rich in lysines, which are subjected to different modifications to regulate p53 activity. |
