Biological Activity | This antibody can be used in flow cytometry studies. It recognizes all isoforms of the CD45 (LCA). CD45 is a transmembrane tyrosine phosphatase, expressed on nucleated hematopoitic cells, which can exist in at least nine different isoforms resulting from tissue-specific alternative RNA splicing. CD45 functions as a leukocyte membrane receptor signal transduction. It plays an essential role in the regulation of leukocyte activation, development, and function. |
