| Biological Activity | This antibody can be used in ELISA and flow cytometry studies. It recognizes CD40, a 50 kDa glycoprotein, member of the TNF receptor family, expressed on antigen-presenting cells such as B cells, macrophages, dendritic cells and thymic epithelial cells and overexpressed in a broad range of leukemias, lymphomas and carcinomas. CD40 is activated by gp39 and may stimulate cell growth, differentiation or death. |
