Biological Activity | This polyclonal antibody reacts in ELISA (1: 100 dilution) and Western blot (1: 1,000) using the immunizing peptide. Cullins (1, 2, 3, 4a, 5 and 7) are a family of proteins that assemble a large number of ubiquitin ligases to catalyse polyubiquitiation, as well as binding to various specific factors to recruit substrates. Cullin 2 (CUL 2) is a component of E3 ubiquitin ligase complexes which controls the proteolysis of G1 cell cycle regulatory proteins. It forms a complex with an inactive transcriptional elongation complex formed by three subunits elongain C, elongain B and VHL. |
Formulation | Solution at 1 mg/mL in PBS. Some of the liquid in the vial could have evaporated with changes in the final volume. However, the mass of the protein is still inside the vial. |
