Biological Activity | This polyclonal antibody can be used in ELISA (1: 500 dilution), immunocitochemistry (1:100 dilution) and it recognizes Cullin 4A (75 kDa) in Western blot of HeLa lysate (1: 1,000 dilution). Cullins (1, 2, 3, 4a, 5 and 7) are a family of proteins that assemble a large number of ubiquitin ligases to catalyse polyubiquitiation, as well as binding to various specific factors to recruit substrates. Cullin 4 (CUL 4) serves as a rigid scaffold that organizes the SKP1-F-box protein and RBX1 subunits of SCF. It plays a role in the polyubiquitination of CDT1 in response to radiation-induced DNA damage and may be important for subsequent DNA repair. |
Formulation | Solution at 1 mg/mL in PBS. Some of the liquid in the vial could have evaporated with changes in the final volume. However, the mass of the protein is still inside the vial. |
