Biological Activity | This polyclonal antibody reacts in ELISA and Western blot (1:500 dilution) using the immunizing peptide. Tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand receptor 2 (TRAIL R2 or TRICK 2) or also termed death receptor 5 (DR5) is a type I membrane protein that contains a cytoplasmic death domain. It binds TRAIL and mediates apoptosis via intracellular adaptor molecule FADD/MORT 1 and activation of NF?B. |
Formulation | Solution at 1 mg/mL in PBS. Some of the liquid in the vial could have evaporated with changes in the final volume. However, the mass of the protein is still inside the vial. |
