| Biological Activity | This polyclonal antibody (serum) reacts with extracts of GLRaV-3-infected plants in TAS-ELISA, (Plate Trapped Antigen)-ELISA, immunocapture-RT-PCR and Western blot (1: 4,000 dilution). GLRaV-3 belongs to the genus Ampelovirus of the family Closteroviridae and its genome is composed by a single-stranded positive-sense RNA with a 35-39 kDa coat protein. GLRaV-3 virions have a flexuous filamentous morphology, it is phloem-limited and transmitted by several species of mealybugs. The leafroll disease is one of the most destructive viral diseases of grapevines worldwide. |
| Formulation | 2ML of whole serum. Some of the liquid in the vial could have evaporated with changes in the final volume. However, the mass of the protein is still inside the vial. |
