| Biological Activity | This polyclonal antibody reacts with extracts of TRSV-infected plants in DAS-ELISA as a capture antibody (1: 50 dilution). TRSV belongs to the genus Nepovirus of the family Comoviridae, its genome consists of two segments of positive-sense single-stranded RNA molecules. Virions are small icosahedral composed of 60 copies of a single capsid protein (53 kDa). This protein plays a crucial role in several aspects of the viral life cycle. TRSV is transmitted by nematodes, insects and seeds. |
