SMYEAV belongs to the genus Potexvirus of the family Flexiviridae and its genome consists of a single-stranded positive-sense RNA. SMYEAV has a flexuous filamentous morphology with a coat protein of 25 kDa and it is transmitted by an aphid and grafting. |
