| Stability | Stable at least one year at -20°C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. |
| Biological Activity | This polyclonal antibody reacts with extracts of TMV-infected plants in DAS-ELISA as a capture antibody (1: 100 dilution). TMV belongs to the genus Tobamovirus of the family Tobamorividae and its genome consists of a single-stranded positive-sense RNA. The coat protein (17.5 kDa) participates in the structure and assembly of rod-shaped virions. This protein is also essential for virus replication, cell-to-cell movement and rapid long-distance movement of TMV in plants. TMV is transmitted by grafting and seeds. |
| Formulation | 100μg of purified IgG fraction. Some of the liquid in the vial could have evaporated with changes in the final volume. However, the mass of the protein is still inside the vial. |
