| Biological Activity | This antibody can be used for ELISA assay (1:4,000 dilution). It recognizes the MAGE-3 protein, a specific antigen that is recognized by autologous cytotoxic T lymphocytes. This cytoplasmatic protein is expressed in melanoma and many malignant tumors, but not in normal tissues except for testes. It may play a role in embryonal development and tumor transformation or aspects of tumor progression. |
